I make sure to interlink all my blogging platforms like you see in the picture. The main blogging platforms I use are Ghost, Substack and Medium.

Then reason for this is this:

1. When I post something to the blogging platforms, there is an outgoing link to my social media, so the crawlers might click, and crawl my social media each time.
2. Google and the LLMs will trust my blogging platforms more, if they point to social media profiles that belongs to a trusted brand.
3. When I post something to social media, the posts can rank higher, because they have authority coming from the backlinks of all the blogging platforms, and other places.

Ghost, Medium and Substack are all high authority domains, and trusted by Google because of this. Its the same story with the social media. Google trusts them because they have high authority, and are verified social media.

When you interlink your platforms like this, you make it much easier to rank your posts on these media. And if you do place a backlink to your site, this link will have more effect than some link from a random social media, that has no backlinks..

I interlink all my third party websites like this. One of the main third party websites is the about . me profile site. I really like this site because its free, but also because I have seen it rank for branded search terms. And it allows for backlinks to the social media..

Do this consistently, again and again.. And you will notice your social media posts be able to rank higher...
